Doucet's is built by individuals from the Lafayette, Louisiana area whose work, year after year, has shaped the company into what it is today. Our culture is high-energy, and we strive to squeeze every ounce out of each day. We bring a professional touch to everything we do, and it shows in the finished work. We lead by example and pursue perfection knowing it's impossible and we find purpose in the endless pursuit.

Our Story
Hey, August here. I would love to share our story from my perspective.
I started this company in 2016 while on the second date with my now wife, Lexxi Doucet. I was talking to her about my goals and dreams, and she looked at me dead in the eyes and told me I should quit my job, start my business up, and go back to college to finish my degree. I said, "Yes ma'am." Although I didn't finish my degree, I successfully completed her other two requests.
My wife's devotion to her faith and my willingness to seek out that faith is the backbone of our company. I trusted in God's will starting this company, and this process has allowed me to see His light in all the customers I encounter, the people who work with me, and the lessons and victories along the way.
At some point, this company grew to where I no longer felt like I was in charge. That was a beautiful moment for me, because I simply let God dictate the success of our company by giving Him full control. I showed up every day continuing to get 1 percent better, and the people who helped me build this company flourished in leadership and responsibility. Every single person who works for us plays a vital role in our company's culture, our professionalism, and our success. I am now so grateful to show up daily to facilitate the success of each individual who is invested in continuing to make Doucet's what it is.
